Heike, This may be of help, when shooting through a window -1 make sure the glassis as clean as you can get it, 2 - get the lens as close to the glass as you can, once the glass is below the cameras minimum focus point the camera won't see it and so you should get a cleaner shot, your panning is fine but the shutter speed was a bit low, put you camera onto shutter priority and set a speed no less then 500th, this will freeze the movement.

thank you Phil. I was not very close to the window. Maybe thats why. When Lukas is old enough I will try to get into these photography clubs. I am more and more into it then ever been before. I have always loved taking pictures. But it comes out even more now.
Thanks again Phil... I will try it on walking Seagulls lol

Just seen on Facebook that Carol Iverson and Kev. Iverson former tenants of the Archer oub and now living in Ash had 20 chickens and 2 ducks killed last night by foxes. Not eaten just killed despite having an electric fence around their small holding.

This morning we found the neatly arranged head, ears, feet and entrails of a rabbit on our lawn. Presumably the work of one of our local birds of prey. Not sure which one, over the years we have seen buzzards, kestrels, sparrowhawks, hen harriers, marsh harriers and a red kite. And once a peregrine falcon.

All part of the natural world.
I love rabbit, but there's not much left there.

Roger, there are lots of rabbits on the fields driving towards folkestone. Sadly many get killed. Same for badgers and the foxes.
You see them at dusk and dawn. Lots of them in different sizes. Cute fluffy rabbits :)

I accept there are probably many rabbits all over the place Heike, but I was talking (on my previous post) that what was left of the rabbit in Peter';s garden wasn't much for a meal.

Bit of a clash of languages there Roger, nuances don 't always come across clearly.
