It was an incredibly successful event with people sadly being turned away due to the site reaching its licenced visitor limit ...
Lets hope they do something similar soon and that the Land Trust see the merit of creating a traditional crafts/artisan community in the fort in the longer term

I walked around the outside fence this morning and it's looking great.
Let's hope the new housing estate built next to it will be sympathetic and in keeping.....oh no, stupid me, of course it won't!

What is 'in keeping' with a Victorian gun battery? The former Connaught Barracks, assault course and old Officer's Mess were just bog standard 1960s brick boxes....
