and vic left early again and missed the goal!!!
Didn't see you Keith but did spot Vic gingerly walking to the exit. I thought it was a superb game from two well matched teams today and I thoroughly enjoyed watching, depsite the awful weather. A super result.
Can't do St Albans next weekend as I am attending a small charity event locally, and need to make a speech too.

What a game! Great Sammy Moore last-gasp winner! Fabulous atmosphere generated by the DAFC Jollyboys. Dover at its finest. Let's keep pushing on and secure that play-off place now. See you at St Albans. White Army!

Well ST Albans did have some close shots, but it was end to end, Dover and St Albans both having chances.
Then sadly at the time Dover player pulls the shirt of a st albans player in the box penalty 1-0 to st albans
b ut Dover bounce back just before half time 1-1
Dover come out fighting, put st albans under a lot of pressure and g0 2-1 up but st albans go close a few times Dover keeper making some great saves.
Not helping matters Dover player gets sent off, so Dover up against it.
Dover keep possession and have a clear penalty appeal turned down
St Albans attack when they can, and come close.
Dover keeper more suspect on the back post, but can be forgiven for some of the outstanding saves.
but the final whistle goes, Dover get the 3 points, move up to 5th spot
COME ON YOU WHITES

thanks for that informative post keith.
funnily enough i was thinking earlier that you could put more flesh on the bones of match reports.
that was much more interesting.
how about the names of goalscorers next time?

HOWARD
Don't think the goal scorers mean much to anyone but will do so if that means summat to yer.
I do text about 9 people as the action happens(goals) if you would like to be included on this Haoward drop your mobile number to my E ADDRESS and i will happily do so.
My reports are basic, just to give everyone a glimpse at the game, Dover supporters were loud and singinging up to going 1-0 down!! went very quiet until thankfully Dover equalised.
The Dover supporters realise its all to play for, and these games are tense,
But get behind the team they did which i'm sure helped.
Atmosphere was good.
Dover drummer(correct term?)
had competition from a St Albans drummer!
but sing they did, and onwards and upwards for another 3 points.
Im a football ref myself, and do try to look at things in a constructive way, but I'm interested having seen St Albans awarded a penalty, in the second half a St Albans player clearly for everyone to see hit a Dover player in the face in the area a clear cut penalty, but wasn't given.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THOUGH
5TH PLACE AGAIN BACK IN PLAY OFF SPOT
LOVELY JUBBLY
And when St Albans got the penalty in the 1st half Keith Dover had a player down with a head injury! play continued for 2 or 3 minutes untill they got the pen. No excuse for this from the ref, play must be stopped for a head injury.

To be fair to the ref(wot fairness how dare we)
As soon as he became aware he did tend to him.
