Yes, Howard, this is the time of year for cactus flowers - from mid May, and they will repeat their flowering through the summer most of them. Here are some out today: The first one is a Rainbow Cactus, named because of the coloured 'stripes' on the plant body, not the flower.

Thanks for the name Bridewort, I actually dislike it, it doesn't do very much and the pink soon turns to brown on the flowers!
