  As I explained Aylesham Carnival Selection is this weekend, after which the guys will take the base and the top to Aylesham to be fitted together and then it's all systems go xx

  Thanks for those Kath, it's great to see some old Carnival pictures.
  At the Film Festival they are showing the Carnival parade from 1960 and the parade was 2 miles long
  
  (Dont think we'll hit 2 miles long this year)

  Yes, Sheli, this afternoon we saw the 1960 film and all the wonderful floats - amazing to be two miles long !! What enterprise and imagination!
