15:0476873No Ray your not alone, as that is of course your rght.
But others do, and Dover as a club are doing well, on top of this is the FEEL GOOD FACTOR for Dover in general, we see a lot of negative comments on Dover as a town, and here's some good news for Dover.
The F.A. CUP brings with it all those dreams for non league clubs like Dover, and of course not forgetting the extra dosh the club gets as it progresses through the rounds whch helps to build the club.
So Ray, made sure the topic heading was clear it was on footy so anyone thay has no interest in footy doesn't need to read/contribute if they don't want to.

15:5876883the match against gillingham will be a major talking point in the town for fans and non fans alike over the next couple of weeks.
the manager, staff and players(not forgetting their fanbase) have got together and shown dover in a good light for a change.

16:0876894Yes, Keith - the tickets go on sale at the Centre Spot tomorrow between 11am and 2pm. All the details are on
www.doverathletic.com
I echo your sentiments, Keith, about the immense feelgood factor fostered by our beloved Dover Athletic FC. It's about much more than football, Ray. Let's face it, there's precious little joy in our dear old home town these days, and DAFC are a beautiful exception to that fact, bringing joy and pride to all ages in the community.
The buzz at Crabble last night was fantastic. And let's face it, when else, and where else, do 1,000-plus Dovorians from across all age groups get together in celebration these days, except at our football cathedral up the hill, the still-beating heart of our often-fractured community?
Proud to be a Dovorian. Bring on the Gillingham.

gills capacity is 11,582
there rough gate so far this season is just below 5,000 so i would think they welcome this draw as one to boost the gate a bit.
The gills chair, paul Scally has in the past moaned about the poor crowds, even in there good times.
It will be a good day out, noticed on gills webs ste they are advertising the ticket prices and with this announcing that should the fnal score be a draw the replay will be all ticket!!!
I remember being in the stands at gills in the past, but now the ground is all seater

17:1677082Vic the best place is up at Crabble to get your tickets, unless you fancy sitting with the Gills fans. I have got the ones I wanted with no problem at all.
You can get them over the phone at Crabble as well and they will post the tickets to you, just go onto the web site it is all on there.
It should be a great day out, lets put Dover on the map with a big win over the Gills and the dwarf,
