14:5677064wouldn't it be simpler and safer to cordon off the area until it is known what is causing the problem?

14:5777065I hope your dog is better son Ian. I thought I had heard of a similar happening recently and have just found the link, it's possible it might be blue/green algal toxicity but not proven.

14:5977066that was the problem in the ilford parks 10 years ago.
the keeper drained the lake there, then jetwashed the algae away, then left it a while before letting it fill up again.

19:2777309Just to let you all know, the antibiotics did the trick.
Alfie had a new elastic band put into his twagger this evening and it hasn't kept still yet.
Once again thank you all for your concern.

20:2077322His brother is a little bugger too.
I have just been told there was an article in todays Mirror, 30 dogs nation wide have died in the past week after being walked in or near beauty spots, due to an algae or similar.
Has anyone read it?

12:2978429Great new. What the Hell is a twagger? My immediate thought was if someone attached a rubber band to mine I don't think I'd keep still!
