[QUOTE="Button"]Well that's just shooting fish in a barrel - some student accommodation, typically kitchens, is so environmentally sus that it's achieved SSSI status. But again, isn't this private land?[/QUOTE
No student accommodation there as far as I know, the issue of private land comes up again. I remember the "fag butt police" in Folkestone being given the elbow for hovering outside the magistrates court knowing there was easy pickings with stressed out people having a quick smoke before or after their performance inside. I haven't seen any evidence of this in Dover and if they are directly employed by DDC they wouldn't be on commission.

These guys are employed by Kingdom and not DDC could be on a trial say of 6 /12 months could the plug be pulled if they go ott??? as it was for x -four in Folkestone when under pressure to get tickets they were issuing fines for some ludicrous reasons.

They were originally trained in house, you may be right about recent out sourcing but I have never seen anything to suggest bad practices. On the rare occasions I see them in town they are very upfront and anyone caught dropping something deserves all they get in my opinion.

The whole town is covered in CCTV nearly I believe and being monitored so you will be caught anyway, that's of your face is showing. Maybe this is why people don't go into town much these days on top of the empty shops...not nice shopping with big brother lol .
If only everyone could be kind and honest what a better world we would be in.

I saw them last Thursday working extremely hard by staring into the River Dour by Morrisons.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Some people seem to think that if they don't pay the fixed penalty it will be forgotten about.

Guess they couldn't find a picture of the beach where the ban is actually in place!

The victims are those who do not want to be accosted by a loose Staffordshire Bull Terrier whilst relaxing on the beach.

The ban applies to dogs on leads too, I wonder who gets the £.30.

Dogs on leads still make a mess, if you get my thinking. I imagine the fines go into the Council coffers minus any payment to the Enforcement company.
There are plenty of other places to take dogs for a walk. Keep them off our beaches.

Much as I agree with the ban which is the result of a minority of irresponsible dog owners not clearing up after their charges I do enjoy seeing a dog splash around in the sea whilst thoroughly enjoying itself.
