Thanks for the feedback everyone - I've got an idea on how to deal with this, it might just take a while longer to implement.
The posts were on a white background until earlier today, I changed it to a light grey background to try and dull it down a bit. But if you can bear with me then there'll be some extra options soon.

Thank you Chris

, although I did not say anything it was a bit hard on these old eyes.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

My eyes are not the best but I'm having no problems, for me, I'm loving the clear crispness of it all

Well done Chris, the grey-scale text (as was) is now as clear as a bell.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Yes but what about my poor legs.

No problems here, Chris. My screen resolution is on 150% to avoid use of a microscope to read the texts.
That solved all visual details.

Is there now a private message facility? That would be most useful.

Should auto sign in when you tick "Keep me logged in on this computer"
Else it could be whatever browser you have set not to remember passwords or clear out history or cookies
Been nice knowing you :)

Hi Vic, just to let you know I'm still trying to find the reason for this - I have a feeling it's most likely a setting in your browser or another program on your computer, but I'm double checking to make sure it's not the website causing it.

It would be appreciated if the light blue could be made visible for the benefit of the afflicted among us......

7 years ago I spent several months in K&C hospital during which I campaigned for Wi Fi for patients
on the wards, separate of course to the NHS Wi Fi.
On leaving Hospital I continued to campaign until 2 years ago when patients finally received Wi Fi
on the ward. When on occasions I return to the ward I have alwats been able to log in to Dover Forum.
Since the change over I have not been able to log in......any reasons your end for this to happen ?

Nothing I'm aware of...are you using a phone/laptop/tablet when you try to log in at K&C? And are you able to log in using the same device at home?
