Here's another one from the archives, back to 2006 in Blakes and there was I taking a photo of the girls and who should stick his head in the mix but none other than KCC and DDC man Nigel Collor himself. Unfortunately Alison Trethewey on the left has her eyes closed, laughing so much was she...next to Alison is Jan Tranter and bringing up the rear on the right is Colette Boland herself....heady times..
Its all happening again this friday night Dec 9 same location from 7pm...ooooh steady!

We would love to come but it clashes with my work do in Thanet. If possible I will see if I can pop in for 5 minutes on the way over to say hi and wish those there at the beginning a merry christmas but if I don't make it I hope everyone has a fantastic time.

Hi Claire
That'll be good if you can pop in - look forward to seeing you.
Keep up the running - but not all the way to Thanet.

Have fun on Friday - I can't be there as I will be out with my work colleagues. I am looking forward to breakfast at Blakes on the 18th though. Linda

I hope you enjoy yourselves this Friday - sadly I cannot come as I am collecting my son from Uni - as it is Durham I don't think I will be back in time!! Someone have a Bushmills for me!!

So sorry to miss those that cannot attend and have said, does that mean everyone else CAN attend and we will see?

Ah jeeeez...tis a great pity that some of our legendary Forum heroes wont be there..sob...we didnt have a party last year as I mentioned previously because of Colette's ill health (now recovered) so we didnt know if the appetite for a party was still there amongst forumites anymore...guess we will find out friday night...
We did have large parties of big scale over the years and very successful they were too.
the same night =

The day is nearly upon us, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys, it's a shame as mentioned by PaulB that a few of our staunch forumites can't make it on the night. I'll quench a Jameson's and maybe a Bushmills for you Bern

Hope you all have a great night, unfortunately my mother has just been readmitted to hospital so I will be on the phone half the night tracking her down.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
