1-0 against a very useful Bromley team at Crabble tonight. League leaders Welling lost away at Bath 1-0, probably not enough games left to catch them now but it is still a possibility if they choke.

Just watched it, Bromley had some chances, what was the gate?
good 3 points though,
What a way to win a game, well struck, to be proud off
Thought the bromley keeper a little unlucky to be sent off
dont think it was intentional

The gate was 715. Bromley had a couple of chances, but never really troubled. They are a descent team, one of the form teams in the league. The red card was a cert, the ref had no choice. Hopefully another three points on Saturday away to struggling Staines, who have inflicted a couple of embarrassing defeats on Dover over the past year.

The sending off does not show very well on a single camera from the halfway line but if given the full Sky multi camera treatment it was a stone cert, the sound of the contact last night echoed around the ground.

Rather by the way, but of interest to fans of football the world over...
"Is Qatar having the 2022 World Cup prised out of its hands?"

It was crazy to think Qatar was a suitable venue at the time of the year the World Cup is played, no doubt the delegates who voted for it were treated very well

over 100 degrees heat even after dark and a nation who have shown little interest up until now in football, fifa must be the most corrupt body in sport.

It is Howard, all the money involved ensures that. I would not trust Blatter as far as I could kick him.

Yesterday's game has to be re-arranged, but Staines have no free Tuesday's.
Only Wednesday 3rd after having played Easter Monday or a Thursday.
