That looks very worrying, the fact that they are discussing its future suggests that it doesn't have one.
Could be that the company that owns it find the building too expensive to run, however it seems that all concerned are keeping quiet on it.

Concordia was unavailable for comment, but a spokesman for NHS England told the Express: "We are currently discussing the future of the Dover Medical Practice with Concordia Health and cannot comment while this process is ongoing.
"However, we are committed to ensuring that patients registered with this practice continue to have access to high-quality, local GP services
The way I am reading those two paragraphs above, is a) A decision has been made and they are pretending to hold a "consultation with the patients and b) Practices that are already very busy will have to take on a bigger work load.

Certainly is Brian, this will impact on all surgeries not just the one in Maison Dieu Road.
I have been with the High Street surgery since arriving here and have nothing but praise for the doctors, nurses, health care assistants and receptionists.
The problem is that they are only human and if overloaded with work will not be able to keep up their high standards.

I am with Pencester Health (upstairs) who took over Dr Jain's practice when he retired and have heard nothing about them closing so maybe they will take over the downstairs practice.

I understood it was just a GP medical practice there that was closing, the other health services will still be provided and operating from there, but I'll see if I can find out.

That's no comfort Roger, where will all the patients go to see a GP, the others are all over subscribed.
Charlie is working on it but I have a feeling that a decision has already been made.

Pencester Surgery are advertising for more patients, not sure about the White Cliffs Medical Centre in Folkestone Road.

I saw that the other day in Pencester, I would sign up with the White Cliffs medical centre if I had enough spare cash!

Was asked earlier what was happening, I haven't heard anything since and I believe they had a meeting with patients.

Despite this sugar sweet website, caring Concordia have just closed down a popular practice in Whitstable.
How many more that we don't know about?
So much for private health providers.
