Very disappointed to see Mitch go to Daggers. The Club would have loved him to stay but unfortunately could not get near the money offered else where. Kevin Lokko has taken over as Captain which I think is a good decision. Money will always talk and at the end of the day footballers have relatively short careers. There is not many people that would not change employer for a noticeable increase in salary.
Personaly I would have loved him to stay but as always we move on, and with the signings all completed nice and early I am certainly looking forward to the season ahead.

from BBC Sport
Dover Athletic have signed right-back Aaron Simpson, 22, and French midfielder Bilel Hinchiri, 23.
By my count that is 11 players signed so far...

Hi ross
They have 19 or 20 signed on
Don't forget some were retained
And some on longer contracts
.
I'm going to first game Aug 3rd away at one of the favourites Chesterfield

A great away fixture so I'm led to believe. Some of the curry club will be there too.

I am sure I am not alone in being really quite excited about the forthcoming season. We’ve amassed a very large squad (23 by my count) but we all know strength in depth is a vital component of any successful National League side. Forza Dubris.

Change of plan, Karlos? I thought you were all rather taken by Chesterfield's beer , sorry I mean hospitality.

Being the 1st game of the season, it was too soon to plan and too late for cheap(er) train tickets.

Daggers parked 11 back and relied on break aways
Dover did play well in front of 1500
Do need to break these teams down
But it's early days
Gave away a penalty because they were trying to push for a second and got caught at the back
Wrexham at home Saturday

We enjoyed the match today. Relieved to see Dover win against 10 men eventually. Not a large crowd but more vocal than usual in recent times.

Don’t knock it Keith, a goal is a goal and 3 points is 2 more than 1.
