 - One of Dovers poorest displays where Dover could and should have been down 5-0 at half time
By comments heard from the chairman and director about the poor display during the game , Dover got away with only being 2-0 down at half time .

With the wind in Dovers favour in the second half Dover still didn't produce to much but saw them score twice in injury time (10 minutes ) which , had poster 919 been there and gone five mins early would have missed the two goals!

Walker kept Dover in the game and scored from his own penalty area where , with the wind assist a long ball went over the head of the Bourne keeper , hi the bar and went in.
Luckily the linesman saw it and flagged for the goal .

Dover have used up a get out of jail free card and just cannot play that badly on Tuesday night.
They have been gifted a second chance which in my opinion and many others present wasn't deserved , but as it's said , that's football .

The game was marred by an incident in the stands where a Dover fan????(who has , I understand has been banned from crabble) was fighting and escorted from ground.
Earlier in the game he was heard openly abusing the chairman, whilst I'm no fan of the chairman he handled himself quite well, and was far more diplomatic than I would have been.
It does bring into question again , how does the club, or indeed the league and other clubs deal with banned players from clubs.
Maybe circulating pictures with the name of the banned spectator to all the leagues local and clubs ??

I should add at this point , certainly this season we are seeing a far better Dover side, of course they will have off days.
Those that think the Chairman leaving will resolve and make the club better, are living in cloud cuckoo.
Should he leave, would in my humble opinion see the club go under .

But let's look to the positives, Dover has been given a second chance , let's take it!!!

 - Sadly Dover were poor again
 Just hoofing the high balls
Picked up easily by the bourne number 5
So dover allow to leave a player unmarked who scored the only goal to knock Dover out

Must now get back to form shown in league matches
 On Saturday against Dartford
 Third Vs Fourth

 - Total tosh the 924 post
It could bring monies into the club
And could have gone on a little run in the cup
Draw looked to be good for them

Saturday gate probably be down a bit after the loss
But with it being 4th vs 3rd
And a Kent derby could be good

 - To be honest, we were playing miles above my expectations until Tuesday, so a sharp correction was probably on the cards. A shame it was the FA Cup but there you go. A big test tomorrow in how we react and how quickly we learn. - victor matcham likes this

 - Really, with Parmenter's focus on money, Dover should been concentrating on winning the cup games.

Not only another home defeat, another Kent derby not won (2019 the last win), a large amount of cash lost in prize money, also the Lordswood v Sittingbourne game is being shown on the BBC, another £2000.

 - Why not leave 10 minutes after the game then you would have seen it all and all of the goals? - victor matcham and Ross Miller like this

Dover are now second in league one game in hand and six points behind leaders (Lewes)
