Dickens festival

i did feel sorry for the parents and organisers who had much such an effort to entertain us. - 3 October 2010 08:3273477Yesterday I went to the Dickens parade and party. Although not many people took part or watched which was a shame the party was the best thing I have been to in Dover for a while.
The evening was entertaining, there was lovely food,really fantastic acting( now I see why kids can be so cheecky),
disco dancing. The dances were mainly those with actions like Macarena and it was great to see all the carnival queens and their teams taking part in the dances. What fun they all had. There were certificates awarded to the queens and junior queens and it was an altogether enjoyable evening.Fabulous,fabulous fabulous. Just look forward to doing it again sometime. - 3 October 2010 14:0473509Unfortunately I had to miss the Youth Theatre as my youngest wanted to take part and I had to take her outside and bribe her with chocolate. Honor, of course, stayed on the dance floor for as long as there was music (it took us a while to find where she had hidden her crutches). Don't worry Anne you will get to do it all over again next year.
It was nice to see courts that were willing to travel so far to be there.Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
