18:5182600 So nice to get out again, even if it was only to the doc`s. Sometimes a week or two can seem month`s ago. Anyway, spotted Howard in the Market Square heading home, had coffee, orange juice and dinner at the White Horse, (thank you Jeanette nice to see you again) something a little more stronger next time maybe?. A walk up and down the sea front, a trip through Debrad`s culminated in passing through a rather empty Market Square around 15.30 with the festive lights on the tree and those of Castle Street beyond. A bitter cold but seasonal start to the month. Hope yours went well?

18:5382603Another lovely pic! I was housebound because of the snow, not unhappy - it took 5 hours to do a 2 hour journey home yesterday so am not missing the 190 mile round trip to work today. Working from home quite happily, and by the look of the update kindly given by PaulW a few moments ago, probably more of the same tomorrow!!

19:2382608So nice to see you again too Colin, I've missed seeing your jolly face for the past few weeks!
I think all day was quiet in town, I sat outside La Salle Verte for coffee this morning & there were hardly any people passing by...except Howard on his normal sprint to get the bus!
For a littleun, you can't half move Howard!!

19:3882612so that was you jeanette, just got a back view of you, thought to myself, no can't be you.
normally you use the one in market square.
the reason i was moving so fast was to get to the bank, rumours were circulating that blue barry was drawing his money out causing a cash flow problem for the bank.

22:0182677Thank you for your kind comments. Looking at Paul`s fine picture above, and the current weather situation outside the window at Whitfield, Christmas card scenes will be abundant tomorrow. I`m hoping our robin makes a showing. My sympathies to those who have to venture out tomorrow against their will, but this is one side which I will not miss in not having to go to work.

22:5282684The market square sure looks pretty this year, the wind was blowing the Christmas Tree earlier making the lights look really twinkly. What a lovely view from our office!!
