14:5271683One of the niceties of Deal is to see the open sea without a breakwater. A lovely picture below, and the sort I never tire of seeing.

16:0371693Does that somehow symbolise your view of the district's future, Paul?

16:2571698If you mean a new dawn rising , well yes Peter.
In my view all is in place, let's hope investors see what see and make the right moves.
We know they are out there, working away.

19:2771729Paul Watkins,
Please do not start going on about that old chestnut, namely your invisable investors with there pockets bulging with cash to spend in your mythical Dover!!
We have had enough of all that hot air. For gods sake come back into the real world before even you start to believe your own propaganda

19:3571730Absolutely beautiful photo Paul. I've used it for my computer wallpaper and it's so relaxing - love it
Why does somebody always have to bring politics and nastiness into every flippin thread? It's really putting me off posting at all. It's almost the season of goodwill so lets get into practice now!
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

19:3971733Always good to see your positive contributions Jimmy.
They have already invested and purchased the sites, [not DTIZ].
I don't intend to say anymore.

20:0471740All I will say about this I hope this time it will take off,so many times we have been told this story only to find it does not happen,Mr Watkins I hope for Dover, that you are right this time, I do not blame you for what has happen over the years but you are the Captain of the ship, but you do need to look at some of your crew to see if they back you up.

20:0671741i think paul the fuhrer is referring to new development at whitfield and the retailer taking over three derelict shops.

20:4271742 Just to get back onto Paul`s fine picture, and hopefully keep Jacqui posting, this one I took up at Edinburgh in August 2003 of my youngest daughter and her freind. Sadly it was the last day of the holiday. The Firth of Forth in the background just after sunset. As Jacqui and other`s appreciate`s, the sea and sky can make such dramatic picture`s, and it`s all for free. `Each a glimpse and gone forever`.
