16:1977393 This is Dame Vera Lynn at the Sea sports Centre early this afternoon, to do with the people`s port debate. I thought there should be a record of her visit here on a seperate thread from the port sell debate, so PLEASE, your own pics or views of her or her music here, but anything political etc, please use BOB FROST`s excellent thread which cover`s all that. Ta.

What a charming Lady, or should I say Dame, I'm very surprised I never fell over you Colin, never saw you.
Iv'e never met so many forumites in such a short time. I think it deserved a seperate thread to keep away the polo's.

16:3377399Nice one Ian, and something for you and your family to treasure mate. I`ve actually got a picture of myself somewhere sitting next to her majesty the Queen. Taken at Madame Tussaud`s some years ago.

16:5477412Sorry I missed you too Ray. Like Ian, I saw so many forumites about today both here and in town. Nice picture there by the way, and that bloke in the red jacket there has added a bit of colour to it all. Made everyone else look so drearily dressed.

16:5677414She had lunch at Blakes before going to the seafront, smoked salmon followed by Dover Sole (What Else! remarked her daughter Virginia who came with her). I have to say she has a good appetite for a lady of her age.

Ok last one. I really do find it annoying when one gets into a position to take a photo and is asked by a professional photographer to move as he needs to take a photo from were you are.
If you are that good Phil you would'nt have asked me to move.
Still training I suppose.
