  #16 The knight with the pink shield on the right of the picture has a mobile phone strapped to his thigh. The pink shield bears the first recorded instance of a smiley face as this knight belonged to a friendly order who only ever drew their swords in self defence.
  
  The little man with the bucket in the 1890 photo below is phoning the police because the big bloke sitting on the end of the boat has nicked his spade and won't give it back.

  Much prefered the Sea-Front, in those days, compared to the Gated and Bland Grimway Flats.
  
  You had a feeling of life, bustle and commerce, as it should be. Also, we lost half of our access to the sea, the sea-front changed forever.
  
  "They" could have easily replicated it all for Modern Times..
  
  This thread could go on and on!....
