  As previously shown on this thread by HowHard McSweaty the domestic rate bill for Dover District is split as follows
  
  Council Tax % of total 2018/19 bill
  
  Dover District Council 10.56
  Kent County Council 71.65
  The Police & Crime Commissioner for Kent 9.79
  Kent & Medway Fire and Rescue Service 4.37
  Town & Parish Council (average) 3.63

  We had the poll tax riots
  
  but maybe we need a more peaceful protest
  
  many areas don't receive a lot of the services yet pay high council tax somethings wrong

  And businesses pay the most through VAT, employer NICs and business rates yet receive hardly anything back.

  So shouldn't residents in areas that don't get a lot of the services get a reduced council tax?
