That's an odd comment howard mcsweeney1 bearing in mind when Terry Nunn very sensibly suggested back in September 2013 (with which several members agreed):
"Quite often confusion rains when posts are deleted. Would it be possible, so that we all retain our sanity, that the following could apply:- 1 - If a member deletes a post, a blank appears with a message similar to "Deleted by member". 2 - If the editors delete a post then a message will appear stating the reason, i.e. offensive, libellous etc. Too often posts disappear, or appear to disappear, for no apparent reason rendering some topics incomprehensible. Thanks. Terry"
You replied: "not sure it is of practical benefit as the post would still be gone and no-one would know the contents."

#20. Unless called upon to give a straight answer, unfortunately or in some cases, and I stress this was heard and not experienced myself, they actively make sustained efforts to disrupt some from the community to help or be of service to the community. Sue this surely is a debate? As is the one you participate in about food banks. It very much depends on which council anybody sits as to how much they get in expenses that in many cases would permit to make sizable donations as they match or exceed a soldier's wage and they don't get fuel allowance either. But back to the point, this town appears to rely on volunteers who , whichever way you look at it, donate their time and make the effort. And they are the ones who deserve to be applauded. It's not having a go at people, but calling a spade a spade. As my husband used to say : If You shoot yourself in the foot, don't limp in my parade.

Here they are:-

#25. Do check KCC allowances, add DDC, some Cllrs don't do badly out of the tax payers' pot. If they didn't most would certainly not be standing. Add your mileage, and it outstrips the average wage considerably. And from what I understand no tax to pay. They just have to figure out which hat they are wearing at any given time. I stand corrected on the soup kitchen.
