let's not forget the stewards who gave up their free time, two of whom are members here - cllrs john goodwin and stewart dimmock. here we see john looking happy not realising that the shifty looking bloke to the left has just lifted his wallet.
It wasnt that shifty looking bloke Howard it was some old man from Belgrave Road way!! Yes many of the Town Council were out
and on duty,Pat Sherrerd Stewat Dimmock andl I were helping with the Secruity with our security guards and Stewart and I hit the Jack pot not only did we meet Gareth Gates but Toyah actually changed her dress as she arrived seperately from the rest of the cast in front of us.I had to keep reminding Stewart he was on security and would he mind not dribbiling at the sight of Toyah in her undies.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
They were both nice people and although the crowd was disappointing considering the rain they had a better time in Dover than Herne Bay,at least we had lights on our Christmas Tree.Seriously thanks to everyone who attended and all the people that gave thier time to perform or volunteer to put on many of the displays.

I had a long day because I was walking Thursday and Friday and left there this morning at 08.30 to get back into Dover at 1.20 we had high winds on thursday but yesterday was a glorious day with the sun shining as I walked from Bamford via The Lady Bower reservoir Hope to Castleton and the Treak Caves where Blue John is found.
