There was an aricle in one of todays newspapers saying exactly what you have said..that regardless of your particular team affilations we should all be supporting our English football team against the Spanish. Unfortunately this country now appears to be full of unpatriotic thick yobs who will be supporting Barca. You wont find many Spanish football fans supporting United!
But thats the way this country has slid over the years, beer swilling, pill popping, cannabis smoking, coke snorting ignorant g*ts.

Pity the match is at Wembley..Giggs is far better playing away from home.

I am with Brian on this one! I haven't follow Man Utd for years - in my opinion they went downhill after Bobby Charlton left! - but I wonder how many of the team will actually feel they represent England in this match?
Im far to young to remember Bobby Charlton i will support any English team in Europe .

what an outstanding match tonight and a performance from barca that matched anything i remember from real madrid as a kid.
manure put on the best performance that they could but no team on earth could have lived with the catalans tonight.

A terrific match last night. We were treated to the best football display for many a long year. The pundits are saying they could be the greatest team ever but the Real Madrid team way back then won it a staggering amount of times either 5 or 6..Puskas, Gento, DiStefano were great players of legend in their time too. In the days when all teams wore mostly either hoops or stripes they burst on the scene all in white. Very striking at the time.
But great match last night.
What was Fergie telling Rooney off about. he was the only one of Man U providing a threat.

Bobby and Jack Charlton are my mums uncles!!!!!
