Yes indeed Howard, Andrew had had a bevy or two and it was the quickest way to shut him up!

Made a start on this Event now on the frontpage. Couple of further pictures there to whet the appetite with more to come. Have some very nice pictures and will get another spurt on shortly... apart from Colette and myself doing them...friend of Colette David Mullan and forumite Claire Jones did the ones that Colette and myself were posing in...not that we're posers or anything like that, heavens noooo!!

I'd been chugging down the vino
(I was guest of honour after all)
"Best eat something solid!"
I heard my stomach call
My mind settled upon seafood
(a silent prayer for fish'n'chips)
and maybe a pickled egg
I could taste it on my lips
All at once my prayer was answered
(my saviour with a rolled-up paper pack)
Colette & Paul were on the ball
"Whoopee" an inscribed silver plaque.

Congratulations again Howard, lovely idea of a plaque to mark the occasion. Looks like it was a good night and all the ladies looking very glam of course. Also just had to say lovely to see Roger's wife Jean looking so well.

How about making Howard's thread a sticky as another reward.
It is a shame it is always the same faces that get shown on here, it would be nice to see what other members look like so I could say hello if I met them.
I hasten to add this is not a criticism just an observation.
