it is a protest vote
what ukip doesnt do well is community work, they just turn up election day.
the lib dems 25 years ago were realy good at it, but they slowly fell away.
at one time about 20 years ago lib dems had 10 cllrs and were in joint control with labour)(even those days they wanted to keep tories in power)ony by contact with there head office did they change
fell away they did
and today they are down to 2 clrs in whitfield in very marginal seats
could be wiped out in may
