The new time table will soon be published .Most areas there are cuts .The Aycliffe service will take a new route .Most services cut to two an hour.River will loose the bus to Deal.I think the service which serves St Radigunds and River will be over crowded. No buses into Market Square or Castle Street .
all change 30 th October.

Went to Canterbury the other week. Was told that whilst new timetables are indeed about to be published they will NOT be in printed form.
Apparently we will all be able to look them up on our mobile phones on the Interweb.
Pointed out to guy in office that there is no mobile phone signal at Canterbury bus station or indeed in most of Canterbury.
He suggested that I look them up before setting out and print them out so I can carry a printed timetable in my pocket not dissimilar to the ones they used to provide.

Stage Coach have ditched the service. My understanding is that KCC is looking for an alternative provider. Fingers crossed.

I would urge all bus users to write a letter and send or hand in to Pencester Road Office

Bus services really only have themselves to blame for what is happening and are now in a catch22 situation.
Costly large buses carrying a few people and poor infrequent services so users find alternative ways to travel which means less money.

River will not have any services to Whitfield .Just two an hour into Dover .So much for Leisure facilities and Tescos at Whitfield .The Old bus terminus is now a glorified car park so buses will have to terminate at the bottom of Coxhill Gardens .That will be dreadful as Chilton Way is also a glorified car park .
I’m once again urging people to write into StageCoach..

Sadly buses run for profit rather than in the interest of the user

Looking at our bus services time table for Aycliffe we have no direct service to Whitfield where there are a lot of large retail units. Also the Dover Leisure was built at Whitfield there for good transport links to it. We now have to get two buses. Yet Whitfield are getting the Fasttrack bus service.
I feel sorry for people with no cars and have to change buses with shopping. Another thing that has pointed out is that students going Christchurch now have to get two buses.
Also by the looks of the timetable there are no bus services going via Snargate Street.
Aycliffe short changed again…

I see the Temple Ewell to Maxton will be run by Regency .The reason Aycliffe bus will go over western heights is to avoid hold ups on Snargate Street .?
Some of the routes were taking so long to complete a journey .Wasting time held up in traffic jams.
