Wherefore art thou 15B -
River's link with Canterbury?
Alas, it seems a bygone age
Since last we got upon the stage.
We fear the Bell may toll for us
Whilst changing for the 15 bus,
So reinstate our charabanc
(And let the Dover plebs go hang!)
We few, we select few, would pay
Take milliner outings every day
And travel for our high couture -
If you could make it door to door.
But lo, what transport of delight
Stands Whitfield way to board, alight?
To city or perchance from Sandwich
With top deck vistas - big advantage!
Earth has naught to show more fare
Than county seen from up the stairs.
So lady, please, no more ado -
The 12 awaits, it waits for you!

The 100 group services are changing on 3rd June but I don't have the details yet. Part of a big scheme involving all of Folkestone's routes other than those to Canterbury.

This would tie in with the plan from Stagecoach to cut the service from 4 to 3 an hour.

Traveline now have new timetables for 102 (just the one number apparently) with a 20 minute frequency. To add potentially to Sue's woes, 91 is being diverted and extended to cover Folkestone local service 127 which may not do much for its reliability! And to negate part of my previous post, Folkestone to Canterbury services are also changing.

Also Traveline have the new 62 timetable from 4th June. It will be extended after the morning peak to the Market Square then continue via York Street and Ladywell to Pencester, needing an extra 8 minutes for the loop. I can't tell from the timetable whether the same bus will continue as 62 after a 5 minute break or, as now, go on to another route. We shall no doubt find out in due course.

Coming thick and fast now. From the same date 89 and 89A are replaced by 92 and 92A running only between Dover and Elvington, so the through service to Aylesham and Canterbury is lost. Also 12 and 90 have their timings changed by half an hour. 15 times change but no 15B brought back. 61 cut toi half hourly after about 1430 on Mon-Fri as it is now on Saturday. I see lots of new timetables coming out near the end of May! A few more to check but that's enough for now!!!!

Brian may have something to say about cuts to the 61 route Aycliffe/Whitfield.

Sue, if you go on to the Traveline website, click on the Find a Timetable tab, then enter the service number and Stagecoach South East as the operator, click Submit and the link to the table will appear. You then need to look carefully at the numbers above the times to see which dates they apply to, as they are jumbled up and the codes vary from route to route.
I looked further and found that 63 and 68 are not changing but 80 and 81 have timing changes too.

The 68 is a KCC service operated by Stagecoach as you know Lew but I was under the impression that it was out for tender this month and I know that another operator wanted it back.

Howard, at the moment no change is shown but the last update was 13th April. On the other hand, from the 61 timetable, it would appear that Stagecoach are taking over the late journeys on 61 etc from Regent.
Incidentally, all the Deal town service times are changing as well!

Regent will be disappointed to lose the late 61 journeys as they were looking to expand on the routes they already run.

Being on a bus route I keep seeing number 61 buses, quite often two at a time.
Is this a coronavirus thing?

Conjunctivitis and blurring, maybe, but not double vision, K. Take a long drive to test your eyes. SPADs recommend it.
