Latest additions to the frontpage now on display...its a packed frontpage bursting at the seams. Have now added ColetteB's pictures, mostly forumites posing in fine style...all dead cool to a man and/or woman.
Hope all enjoy!!
Probably did all the pictures too large but I got carried away. Hopefully they download easily enough for everybody. If anyone has problems let us know.
Jeeeeez just when you thought it was safe to go out..heavens no!...You dont have to go to Somalia for pirates, they are right here on Dover Beach, well shiver my t t t-timbers..

Before I visit the front page, I do note your use of, "man and/or woman", Paul.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.
loving the man with the green mankini , funny he hiding his modesty with a santa stocking as he came out

Good to see the pictures of the forumites joining in the fun, it was a great day for daft goings on, a nice way of raising money for charity

Love the added pix on front page even if they are mine!

The Pirate lads above were such fun, in fact everyone was great fun, the camaraderie was electric. Jeanette looks rather cosy between Ross and Guzzler, what more can a girl want when shivering by the briny sea
As for me, water is strictly for bathing or as we say in the old country, for making tea

Amazingly I really did enjoy the dip on Boxing Day - I had planned to wear a wet suit under my Santa dress but in the end I thought that might be considered cheating so I decided to brave the cold and go for it. I wonder if I can get David to join me next year?

lol!!
Yes Big Dave going in would be quite a scoop..and if he did it with a mankini well ....but, who would he get to hold the sunglasses!?
Here is another picture from the day, this time from ColetteB again with her trusty camera.
Featuring the ever pleasant Tattoo man Mike McFarnell...he of the moving camera image, hope you got my best profile Mike. Next to him in the college scarf is Barry W-S passing up the Boxing Day Hunt with the Fanshaw-Hendersons just to be with us, then yours truly, then Jan T again... well wrapped up.

Excellent coverage of the event in the Mercury but I can't find a mention in the Express. Surely they can't have given Phil Medgett a bank holiday off?

That is fascinating Peter...nothing in The Dover Express !!??
Philo was down there snapping away. He took loads of pictures...
In fact the tide nearly got him at one point along with ColetteB and meself. Water up to the ankles I had...
havent got the papers yet but will in due course.. Was looking forward to the newspaper coverage to see how it compared to our own.

The Urquarts and Fanshaw-Hendersons were fine with one not being able to ride to hounds, knowing that I was sane enough not to dive in this year

In the DE today, Dover Life Guard head coach Tim Hyde said "We had Nick Bailey, a local optician, wear a bright green mankini"
Were there two then?

You are mistaken Paul, there were at least 5 of them including Nick and some other brave souls from the Rowing Club
