If only we could write, "Anybody but Boris." and sort the rest out at a second ballot. My first choice will go to the independent and my second to Bro-Ken.
Polls did so well at the recent by-election, did they not?
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

would be nice if the independent cut into the votes of the big two.
i don't think it is a certainty that the loudmouth will win, tube fares are important to most londoners as very few have parking spaces at work and the congestion charge make using the car prohibitive.

I am willing to bet even Churchill swore in front of journalists when p****d off with them but that sort of thing was never mentioned, now you sneeze at the wrong time and it ends up as news.

the more i think about it the more post 8 from reg seems credible.
a few expletives can be seen as a sign of emotion to some and would add appeal to those who just see him as a toff.
one of the lads na wot i mean.
I have no doubt about it Howard! Image management........

I guess I come from the old school of etiquette, this kind of swearing whilst been interviewed is to me, totally unacceptable no matter what his ulterior motives are. I know that most students in London are voting for Ken due to his plans for putting on later underground services

i heard that about the later tube finish, that coupled with boris threatening to raise fares could mean a tighter vote than expected.

Bullingdon Boy! Moi!

Perish the thought. Now put that waiter down and drink up your champagne like a good fella.

Well it all worked out well in the end.
I will really have to try swearing more often.
The other week, on the bus, I had to explain to my children about the 'very naughty man in front'. I now know why the man was so rude to me when I passed comment, he was merely connecting with 'the people'.
I'm not sure if Boris smells the same as this man did, but they certainly share the same hair dresser.
It's good to know we have Etonians in Dover to raise the tone.

Boris the only popular Conservative in the country makes it by a whisker.
Looks like razzmatazz and propaganda can still win elections.
Boris likes the fame of being the Mayor of London but his eye is still on Parliament.
Is it possible to be Mayor of London and leader of the Conservatives?
I don't think people actually see him as a Conservative. He has skillfully created Boris the entity rather than Boris the Tory. And it has clearly worked!!
