As Andrew Neil pointed out earlier today:
"The £100m saved from ending winter fuel allowance for richer OAPs will amount to circa 0.01% of government spending by 2015".
Puts Ed's strange vision in some sort of perspective doesn't it? Like, er, he doesn't have one?

To have a vision you have to accept the past and he remains in denial and delusional over his and his masters spendthrift excesses over 13 years that led us into the mess we have. His 'vision' shows how unfit for government he and his party are.

No Brian - Osborne is at least taking us in the right direction, even if too slow. Balls was instrumental in creating this mess and has not learned from his many mistakes.

Brian, as poor as Osborne is Balls is would be much much worse. As stated above, his only idea is to save 0.01% of govt spending.
Osborne will have slept soundly last night

In which case I assume his good teacher was Brown, the bloke who steered the country into the abyss and has disappeared in humiliation.

Perhaps you can explain that Brian. It will be interesting see you attempt to re-write history.
