Quite a few sticking out over the pavement at the Frith Road end of Salisbury Road for those who want an easy life, I ate a couple on my way to Morrisons yesterday.
BTW no sign of the expected weed spraying so far.

Blackberry picking season started weeks ago, my back garden was full of them.
Now it's plums, apples and pears.
Where I live now is next door but one to where I used to go picking bags and bags of apples from an old abandoned orchard, long since gone.

We have to make the most of the bonus in the fruit crop and freeze what we can!
Blackberry jelly is good too, on home made bread, with butter.

Absolutely! real butter!
You can't beat it. Have to have real butter with home made bread (or scones) and home made jam.
Not worth doing otherwise.

Howard (see no.34) the answer is yes, blackberries - the berries have a slight bloom on them but still blackberries.
