Went to Margate yesterday and passed the crushed body of a badger by the roadside emphasising that the motorcar is also responsible for the sad demise of a great number of these intriguing creatures.
Im against any animal suffering as its just plain cruel sadly the farmers do moan a lot about something different every day and usually about money, natures way is to live in harmony side by side but i dont believe you would ever meet a happy contented farmer .

i thought the funniest thing about the defra report was the bit about "emotional hurt" caused by the deaths of their cattle.
i suppose they never get sent to slaughterhouses.

Being a natural cynic I rather suspect that the emotional hurt comes from losing the value of a cow rather than selling it.
