Another event
- 11 December 2011 17:36141941I have just been over to Walmer where I attended a Carol service at St Marys Church .This time it was Deal.Walmer .Sandwich and District Scouts service .The Childrens presentation were delightful.One presentation was how different countries celebrate Christmas.I have come home with a currant bun .They also talked about St Nicholas no not me .

charity collection on behalf of dover & district handicapped club.
tickets £. 1. 50 adults and 50 p for children.

Many moons ago I took on Sue and her posts....still do when I have the energy. But I have learned that Sue is charming, dedicated, and totally unto herself. I still summon up the resolve, after a good meal, a glass or two and a 3 week holiday, to challenge and comment on Sues posts, but I understand now that it is an academic exercise. And that makes it easier to accept the futility of the expectation of change. Just saying.........

I keep an eye on the DDC website and it is up to the event organisers to submit their event and not for DDC to search them out....
