Many people complain nothing happens in Dover, others complain they don't know what is going on or things are not advertised...
Yet after lots of advertising 2 bits in both papers hundred of leaflets and poster in the Town coverage on here we have sold 80 tickets for the show.
How embarressing for all those people taking part,we have actually got more people in the show and helpers than paying guests.
How bad for the organisers that a sum of £2000 for the RNLI and Dover Regatta could be closer to £200.Yet we all know how wonderful the RNLI and Dover Regatta are yet we cant support it with a £5 ticket.Yes some have bought them with the biggest seller my Mum who has invited all her family.
And you wonder why people dont bother themselves to put anything on in the Town With 10 days to go we could still sell a lot more tickets but I am sure other things will happen that are more important on a Sunday afternoon.
I have got some really talented young people who have been practicing for weeks,I have got to tell them how many people will be there. So on Sunday 22nd January while you are watching the rerun of Eastenders just think where you could be.
Sorry I am fed up and confused about why people arent supporting this show!

John what a shame after all the hard work you and others have put in. Just after Christmas and having to pay out for school things means there is not that much spare money around at this time of year.
Is there a poster outside the Town Hall advertising the event or are the frames as empty as usual.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
