- My understanding is that Brownfeild sites must be developed first , Formal greenfeild sites are still protected , and developments that are planned are subject to proposed alteration by the communities affected , as always there are appeal processes on both sides . 
 THats my understanding of the reading that I have done .

 but the latest move is  putting cameron under pressure
 
 develiopers will push for greenfield sites as is there want.
 
 and hearing osbourne clearly stating we cant anymore stop developement
 will be big pressures to build.

 - It has already been explained Keith - the presumptions are in favour of brown field and sustainable development.  Spreading disinformation is not good and responsible opposition tactics but sadly we see far too much of that.
