  My wife and our next door neighbour Mrs. Hazel Wouldham send out ten boxes every week to Afganistan on behalf of Corinnes Hairdressers of Whitfield. The girls and customers of Corinnes and staff at the Channel Tunnel, Folkestone contribute bits and pieces every week plus collections. My wife and neighbour bring all the goodies to my house and every Sunday morning they box and wrap them, I print out the address labels and stick on the customs label.
  
  We only live two minutes from Whitfield Post Office so every Monday morning my wife and neighbour take them down there to be posted. The ladies in the P.O. are very co-operative and also donate as well.
  
  We have had some lovely letters back from the soldiers, airmen and naval personnel out there thanking every one over here, it is surprising what a shoe box can do for moral. We have had letters from privates, corporals, sergeants, captains and a lieutenant. Males and females.
