  How can you travel from New York to San Francisco, (the actual cities), in about one second or less?

  Google or some other map, if not the speed of sound or light.

  Sorry Jan, I should have mentioned nothing to do with the speed of light. Dinner for two at the White Horse*, plus a bottle of wine for the right answer, or should I say, the right answer which will be wrong. * Or some other eating place of your choice who advertises on the forum.
