UKIP having to withdraw an election leaflet, not sure how that works if most of them have been delivered.

I think UKIP will do it,but what UKIP members and the public must think is he doing it because he does think UKIP is going down the right rd, or is it to save his own job as a MP ? UKIP have been round years saying the same thing so why did he and others wait till now to come over? why not two or more years ago or even stand for UKIP at the last election?
And if the blues were showing up well in the run up to next year would he still have come over? sorry but I do not think that is the case but again I could be wrong.

I don't understand this - you seem to want UKIP to succeed as you have re-joined them, but don't like all the new members that they need if they are to succeed.

I welcome all new members ,public, MPs cllr if they have joined because what UKIP and it policy stand for and not just a means to a end.

I doubt Reckless has anything but personal ambition on his agenda, seems to have done nothing locally to warrant support but the current surge to UKIP will carry him home.

A big win by Ukip could be a turning point for traditional tribal voters. Miliband and Cameroon's bottoms must be going sixpence/half a crown.

2 opposing sets of street thugs managed to get the christmas lights deferred until tomorrow and traders took a big hit on their most important day of the week, time to ban such demonstrations in my view.

The mosque is planned for Gillingham which used to be in the Medway constituency until boundary changes moved it into Rochester and Strood in 2010. It became an issue well before the by-election was announced.
The other parties don't see it as contentious.

Mark Reckless made a major gaffe on the last day of campaigning by suggesting that some immigrants could be sent back if the UK left the EU. UKIP head office were quick to put things right but one does wonder if their candidate was just thinking out loud.

Sorry but in my way of thinking he is not a true UKIP man he is is just using the party as a means to a end that is keeping his wage safe.

Chief whip Michael Gove has stated categorically that there will be no further defections, I suspect this could lead to an egg on face situation.
