I just can not see it making money staying open others where most of the public walk can not make it pay unless you want to use the toilets you are not going up there to buy a ice cream and only costing 20p to use the toilets is not going to pay a living wage for a person there all day, So if it closes will the toilets say open after they have now spend £90.000 of public money doing them up?

Please give them a chance. They have invested their own money in this venture and they deserve our thanks for risking their savings for the good of the town. I accept that the location is not ideal for the business model but there was no alternative offered.
Next time I am in town I shall use the facilities, and buy something in the shop, on principle. So should we all, to show our support for a private undertaking seeking to plug the disgraceful gap left by DTC, DHB and DDC, all of whom could have provided such facilities but sought to avoid doing so for political reasons.

Not saying that is agood way of thinking but the facts are that you just do not get the numbers up there to support it.
What you are saying is please go up there 7days aweek use the toilet and buy from the shop sorry but that is never going to happen.
When seting out on a investment you must look to see what the return is going to be.
One must aske "Would I risk any saving I had put by on this venture 99% would say no.
The first thing I would have looked at is"Did the shop up there doing all and more make it pay"
Big no to that it did not last a year.
When we talk about money as I well know you must not let your heart rule your head.
I done it at Elections costing me most of my saving even knowing I could not win "WHY because my heart took over from my head bad move,
And same will happen here.

Vic, ducks' egg have a particular property which might mean Lesley confines you to the bunker 24/7. That is, they make your wind a little smelly.
