Clogged the other way as well. At 07.00 Jubilee Way was at a standstill. At least there were gaps in the roundabout at the bottom to squeeze through. Not a rozzer in sight.

And yet, no queues at the tunnel. Seems the drivers have lost a bit of faith and would rather wait for a ferry!

Just seen a post on Facebook from someone on their way home from work saying the traffic is at a standstill all the way back to Folkestone, she posted about 30 minutes ago.

I have just come back down the M20 and it has taken me over an Hour to get from Folkestone to Elms Vale. The tunnel slip is clear. Why can't them stop the lorries back there so they do not block the slips for cars to get off? I could not even take the slip for Folkestone due to the lorries blocking it.

Lots of visiting fans, and some of ours that live Ashford area, missed a lot of the Dover game last night stuck in the queue. With free entrance after half time it cost the club a fair amount of gate money.

That is a very good example from Martin of how these continual holdups are damaging the local economy.

Signs are needed or information put on the matrix boards, (Port of Dover Freight to keep to left hand lane and keep junctions clear). I know the freight would queue back for miles but it could help the locals and others heading to Dover.

And trucks reaching the Aycliffe roundabout in the offside lane to be turned around and sent back to Court Wood. The news would soon travel among the driving fraternity.

Nice idea Peter but I don't think there would be the will and person power to enforce it.

Thank you Brian , being used as evidence to demonstrate erratic traffic management controls.
