Shipdem's House (the Round House) / British Legion Club

Located on what is now Camden Crescent car park, Shipdem's House (also know as the Round House) was built by John Shipdem in the  early 19th century. It was later used as the British Legion Club and the private Round House Club.

Following damage during the Second World War the building was demolished, and the Dover Stage Hotel was later built on the site.
