All I know is that if you live on max state benefits of £296 a week, you're still in the top 4% of richest people on Earth, and that globalisation, whilst making minor differences to some UK workers' expectations of what somehow they 'deserve' in spite of their low productivity, has cut extreme world poverty rates by over 50% in the past 30 years, having a greater effect than all our Foreign Aid and Bill Gates' efforts to get half of Africa fit enough for the Mediterranean crossing.
