Met, with half a dozen different demonstrations some Saturdays, much more experienced with infiltration + snatch squads for troublemakers.
Main cock up Sat was not having bottom of Flk Rd sealed from opposition to start + lack of control of high ground overlooking York St.
Rest of march to E Docks was text book control. Well done!
Unfortunately after a number of semi coherent 'speeches' by so called fascists howling at the moon at their own ignorance and at their inability to understand the world: a bit like Iraq, there seemed to be little 'post conflict' planning.
The crowd should have been escorted over the same route back to R'way Station for dispersal but appeared to be allowed to fragment with groups heading into centre of town. (V important to make sure demonstrators play on your terms and territory of your choosing. It's here Plod had lost the upper hand on both counts)
All good fun though and not too much damage/injury!
