  Things have changed in the last few years mainly due to charges and new rules brought in by KCC at council tips. Previously the rubbish problem in the ward was confined mainly to a section of the Folkestone Road, the causes of which Paul refers to.
  
  Nowadays people come from all over to rid themselves of building materials, unwanted furniture and white goods. They tend to aim for locations where they have less chance of being seen like the gaps between houses and alleyways. Credit to waste services who respond quickly to reports from Councillors and members of the public.
