It is just a costly and divisive PR exercise which ultimately will be used as a tool to try to keep the UK from splitting up to the advantage of those who want to keep the peasants in place.
In years gone by the Squires used to ride through the countryside whipping the peasants to encourage' them to pay their dues'.
Nowadays it's more sophisticated but the mind set hasn't changed; just the method to ensure that our 'betters' are kept in the way that they have become accustomed to!
The referendum choices of leave or stay is on the voting papers as an invite for the population to choose which is best for the good of the country and mankind but in reality it is a question seen by many as ............."what's in it for me?"
So on that basis the result will be achieved and the government will announce their preference as the final result.
