Says a lot for the local party that she was still selected as the preferred candidate, don't think she'll make any headway against Damian Collins though.

It will be interesting to see how it varies from the Euro elections - UKIP 43%, Conservatives 27% in Shepway (38% turnout, general election will definitely be higher).

It's the sort of thing my grandmother (1886-1975) might have said after one glass of Scotch too many.

When entering a Cadbury's competition for schools in the 50s part of the background information we were given was that black Africans have white teeth because they eat so much fruit.
(I won a big box of chocolates but can't remember how though I've still got the certificate packed away somewhere!)

Getting back to the local UKIP I did say on the forum a year ago that we will see some of the new members pack up by election time and that has happen with still time to see a few more go and that will happen,I am not happy to see it happen after the work that has gone into the build up from the time there was just four of us round the table out at the high and dry working out how we can build the membership and move forward.

The secretary has got embroiled in a tit for tat row over the last few days on the Dover express website, they really do need to get their act together and act in a disciplined manner in order to be taken seriously.

There has been well over 2000 viewing this .That is a lot of votes ,so the forum is still a good way of getting your views over and any party that does not take that in or do not post or run down the forum membership is heading for a downfall .The forum is the place for any party to get their views over .If I was the UKIP leader now just as I was years ago I was never off the forum as a small party UKIP do not have the funds or membership to do the same way as the major partys by using the post good way letters in each door. They use the phone . So without that kind of funding how does a small party get out to the public ,well the only way is by using the laptop and by going on all forums not just this one .I was looking and posting on all of them here and in Deal.

Using these atrocities to try and scare normal people to his way of thinking what an arse!!! Virtually the same spiel as in manchester just after the killings he has a broken moral compass.

Sorry Mr Barrington I cannot agree with you on this point. What he is saying is true and he has been saying it for many years now.It is not nice to hear or even talk about but it has to be said to try and stop it from carrying on.

Vic it's not so much what he's saying it's the timing that is the issue. During the funerals of those that have been killed, pretty poor.

Unfortunately it is not the first time a politician has opened his mouth when he should have kept it firmly shut.
Referring back to the clip from Keith it seems we can be influenced by or accept Jewish culture but not Muslim which is just daft.

I have just seen a clip of Al Murray on Five News pledging 1p a pint which is not much more far fetched than what other politicians always promise but fail to deliver.
