 - Regardless of what you think of Lord Adonis, he raised an interesting and related point on twitter that Farange has been on BBC Question Time 32 times since resigning as UKIP leader. This is the problem - nobody wants to know what UKIP thinks about anything, only what Nigel Farage thinks! - Jan Higgins likes this

 - UKIP was always about Farage's campaign to get us out, it was never going to hold as a party as the membership was made up of lots of different politic views, united under the get us out banner.

UKIP was always going to struggle to keep its British working-class voters, as Farage is basically a Tory.

that's why lots of UKIPs known EX-Tory activist struggled to get elected to the councils ,in working-class places, you cannot polish a terd

 - "UKIP is the fourth political party in the UK, with an unequivocal commitment to freedom, democracy, small
government and local control. The Party Network celebrates the rebirth of the political ‘salon’. In each region, PN members get together to host and attend cocktail parties,
receptions, private dinners, shoots or other events that combine socialising with a political flavour."

Works for me; can I take my whippet?

 - By tomorrow we will hear the same from around the country, the councillors know they won't get re-elected in May so if they leave the party now and then not stand again they don't lose face. I wonder how many will try to crawl back to the Tories? http://www.kentonline.co.uk/folkestone/news/ukip-councillors-threaten-to-quit-after-henry-bolton-sacking-160308/

 - As I said Ben's team knew they were on way out at next District elections after recent by election results in tower hamlets.
So it's probably an attempt to distance himself but all a little late.

 - Fascinating to watch. Ben is OK. Good hard working Cllr. for his area. Interesting to see where the enigmatic Cllr Rapley finishes up.

As for Thanet's Wells, I would suggest he'll try to be a wrecker. Vengeance will be is motivation.

As leader at this very moment she will be mustering the troops ready to put up a united front. On a less serious note when De Bradelei suddenly closed Peter Wallace went down to give advice to the staff and it wasn't even in his ward and when asked why she didn't oppose the demolition of the Pier she said it wasn't her business!! Maybe she is an active ward councillor in other ways?

 - A group of 1 cant be a group lol

ref Rapley always good to involve yourself in your own ward
theres enough in one ward to keep a Cllr occupied all the year round.

 Shes silly not being involved
but its all about choice I suppose

Yes it will be a shame to see Ben go. to be consistent though he was elected as a UKIP person if I was in ukip voting for him I would be disappointed and want a by election

UKIP slowly falling apart as I said before done there time
