  wouldn't happen in dover district - rent a yob is more prevalent in thanet.
  
  seems likely that farage was there paving the way to being candidate at the next general elecgtion.

  I did have a dinner with Mr Farage some time ago in Ashford it was after the plane crash,and I said at that time he should not go to meeting without some security but did not make a issue of it. It was not a one to one meal just like last night it was also a meeting.

  Post#24 it sounds like a Balrick cunning plan..All that Labour Party money which has been diverted away from poor Clairs' campaign funds will used to repair all those broken placards and banners in the coming months.

  Personally I hope Nick Griffin gets his quota of votes, and finally the two main parties might start to realise what an inept shower we think they are, and get a reality check. You work for us the voters, do what we want done, or bugger off and give the job to someone who will.

  24, Reg you are spouting the usual hysterical official Labour b***ocks about UKIP. UKIP are neither xenophobic nor anti-immigration. But they have attracted a few members who do hold those views, even locally, and in the long run that will do their cause no good. My hope is that UKIP will sweep the board at the European elections later this year and, in doing so, put the wind up Cameron enough for him to see sense on Europe.

  If the labour party had stuck to there election promise of giving uk voters a say on the Lisbon treaty, the open doors that have upset so many of your core voters ,wouldn't have happened .
  
  Ukip channels peoples anger away from the far right ,,and into a democratic party with a Australian workable type immigration system
  
  The labour party need to listen to the public.

  ignorant,and not the full shilling person or persons in their group.......so here is another message....
  
  
  Gábor Vona, the extremist leader of the Hungarian nationalist party, Jobbik, is on his way to the UK with plans to host a gathering of racists and antisemitics on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day.
  
  We can stop his mission of hate, but we must act quickly. Sign our petition demanding that Home Secretary Theresa May deny Gábor Vona entry into the UK.
  
  We fight extremism every day, but our efforts take on even greater meaning as we remember the Holocaust on Monday.
  
  If we miss this window of opportunity, Jobbik will be through the border and in London preaching antisemitic words of hate while our voices of hope pause to remember one of the most atrocious genocides in human history.

  Ukip's Nigel Farage hit over the head with 'Nasty Little Nigel' placard in Kent
  
  
  Ukip leader Nigel Farage has been attacked by a group of protesters in Kent, in a visit that saw him clobbered over the head with a placard that read "Nasty Little Nigel".
  
  
  The South East MEP was met with an angry group as he approached the Walpole Bay Hotel in Cliftonville, with demonstrators shouting and one man jingling a purple tambourine in Mr Farage's face.
  
  He was ushered inside by police, as around 40 protesters pushed and shoved him. He later said he didn't like their behaviour but insisted "it won't stop me". Kent police said they had interviewed Mr Farage and were investigating the incident

  I defend peoples rights to protest ,but attacking politicians on all sides is not good for democracy.
