Peter, you won't be thrilled to know that perhaps 700 jihadis from Britain are currently fighting for Al Qaeda in Syria, according to the French Intelligence, and as many Jihadis from France are there too, as stated recently in Britain by French President Monsieur Hollande.
The British PM disputed the numbers, downplaying them.
However, a Sky News article from about two months ago reported the presence of a whole Al Qaeda brigade from the UK fighting in Syria, whose members had stated, among other things, that the second most funds to Al Qaeda in Syria come from Britain.
Sky News noted at the time that the British Security were unaware of this brigade.
The British Government is hiding facts, downplaying numbers, occulting mortal dangers to our Society.
Just wait for these UK passport-holding jihadis to return (some already have) and then how things evolve here in Britain!
That with the hundreds of vulnerable Syrian refugees is just a smoke and mirrors ploy from a clueless government whose open support for the unpopular insurgency in Syria which the majority of Syrians loathe (contrary to your statement) is what encouraged so many UK-passport jihadis to go to Syria the first place, believing they it was approved by the British Government.
