The Government is doing a display of acrobatics and trying to pull out clean.
To start, the Syrian government and State institutions did not persecute Syrian citizens on account of their ethnic identity or their religious belief. As mentioned, they took in a great number of refugees from neighbouring countries, one of which had been visited by T. Blair's supremacist aggression (Iraq). Let's face it, about 1.5 million Iraqis fled their country as a result of the mayhem left behind by Blair. And hundreds of thousands of dead, and how many wounded and injured?
He lied to Parliament to achieve his aims. He still tries to justify his actions.
W. Hague went as far as openly encouraging the Syrian insurgents to continue their attacks against the Syrian armed forces and to continue bringing their war into urban centres. This may constitute incitement and encouragement to crimes against civilians.
It certainly is support for terrorists against a sovereign state and is contrary to International Law.
He went to Egypt shortly before Morsi got booted out of office and, within the context of the "Friends of Syria" group, encouraged the then Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood president, Mohamed Morsi, to get involved in the Syrian war.
Morsi immediately invited Egyptians to join the battle in Syria, and was soon thereafter ousted by the Egyptian military, with overwhelming public support, who saw the writing on the wall. Namely bloodshed, terror and destruction to the bitter end in Syria and probably in Egypt once hordes of Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood fighters would start returning from Syria.
Other members of the so-called "Friends of Syria" group, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, have from the start being supplying enormous sums of money and weapons via Turkey to supply rebels and terrorists fighting a sovereign country - Syria - so as to inflame the war and create horrendous, calculated suffering among the civilian population there.
Sorry, the culprits of the suffering of the Syrian refugees are sitting in Westminster and in several other government offices around the world.
Please address this issue and have them held to account.
Make them respond to charges, use their money to pay for aid to Syrian refugees, take it from their accounts, sell their houses and property to cover the expenses.
